About Our President
Mr. Estripeaut is one of the founders of Creative Engineering Group Inc. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida. Prior to founding Creative, Mr. Estripeaut progressed through various positions within the Florida Department of Transportation including Palm Beach Operations Engineer and Turnpike Construction Engineer. His unique perspective is formed from his 30+ years’ experience in construction management, quality control/assurance, marketing, and managing many major roadway and bridge projects throughout South Florida including recently completed Spanish River Interchange, PGA Blvd. Bridge Replacement and US-27 Resurfacing projects. Mr. Estripeaut prides himself on staying abreast of the most current technology and precedence established in the civil engineering and construction industries and applies this information to his current projects. Mr. Estripeaut is skilled in assessing and solving construction problems in the field, negotiating and resolving claims, and identifying and eliminating the issues most likely to impact the project schedule or budget ahead of time to avoid the need for the previous two skills. Mr. Estripeaut’s expertise in project management and providing innovative solutions has resulted in clients receiving multiple FTBA and ACEC awards for projects he has been involved with. He is thoroughly knowledgeable in State and Federal policies, procedures, legislation, and rules relating to engineering issues. Rick enjoys spending time with family and exploring various cuisines.
