The improvements for this project include milling and resurfacing the northbound and southbound pavement, shoulders, and median openings from MP 117.843 to MP 138.0379 in Martin County. The work will include cross slope and super-elevation corrections, full depth and deep milling by as much as 7-1/2 inches deep, shoulder gutter, shoulder widening, box culvert restoration using both Gunite and Latex Modified Mortar applications, epoxy crack injection, pipe and box culvert desilting, ditch pavement, safety improvements that include: guardrail extensions, location, height and anchorage assembly upgrades, shoulder drop-off along the edge of pavement repair, closing off of emergency crossover at multiple locations, roadway lighting upgrades, guardrail attachment to bridges, and upgrades to existing signage.
