Work included adding a new entry ramp to southbound Turnpike from eastbound Sunrise Boulevard; adding a new exit ramp from northbound Turnpike to eastbound Sunrise Boulevard;  removing the existing toll plaza at the northbound Turnpike entrance; converting all ramps to All Electronic Tolling; replacing and raising the existing Turnpike bridge over Sunrise Boulevard; widening the travel lanes, bike lanes and enclosed pedestrian walkway; and installing new noise reduction barriers.
