Work included milling and resurfacing and widening from a four-lane roadway to a six-lane roadway from the county line to south of Oslo Road. This required construction of a new bridge; new sidewalk on the west side of US 1 from the Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park to just south of Oslo Road and on the east side of US 1 from the south approach of the bridge to just south of Oslo Road; sound walls on the west side of US 1 in front of the Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park; upgraded traffic signals at US 1 and Highland Drive; drainage improvements including three ponds; and landscaping.
